Côte des Bar in south east of the Champagne region on the border of
Bourgogne

Cuvée Marie Blanc de Blanc, Chardonnay (blend 2005).
Tasting notes: Color: This
100 % Chardonnay presents a beautiful yellow dress. Harmonious and fine,
bubbles are joining the surface of the disk to form a foam cordon which hides
the edges of the glass. A big transparency allows the light rays to pass and
offering a crystalline aspect of a big purity.
Nose: The nose reveals a
mixture of fresh and mature citrus fruits, the whole based on a beautiful
minerality. The first olfactive approach is frank and right. Then steams of
mandarin, orange peel and grapefruit slightly sweetened come to perfect this
aromatic complexity.
Palate: The mouth is in perfect harmony with the
olfactive scents. Citrus fruits and minerality well integrated are followed by
a soft and creamy touch. The effervescence is completely envoutante, it let
express all the fruit sensations. A touch of vanilla, kiwi and mango come to
perfect the whole
