Due to new changes made
by HMRC relating to all alcohol sales to the UK we have suspended all
sales/deliveries to the United Kingdom.
A new system of Excise Duty has
been introduced as well as a new obligatory system for the collection of UK VAT
for sales from another EU country that makes it almost impossible for us to
provide a quality, timely service to our UK customers.
The new
legislation does not include personal purchases made here in France when
visiting us here in Champagne and taking champagne back to UK for personal
consumption.
We are currently investigating full service import agencies
to enable us to resume service to the UK and will update information here when
available. |
