Champagne Direct customers can now choose to have a single bottle, two or three bottles or from one case (6 bottles) to one palette (480 bottles) of champagne delivered to their door. For orders of 1,2 or 3 bottles we use a special DHL Express service especially for bottles of Wine and Champagne with fast delivery everywhere in Europe. For orders of a case (6 bottles) or more customers can choose a fast DHL Express service (usually overnight) or we now offer Euroconnect which is an excellent road freight service from DHL that takes a few days longer, but is very economical compared with the air Express services and is ideal for heavy shipments. Our new shopping cart now includes all major European destinations and offers customers a choice of delivery options depending if the emphasis is on speed or price of the delivery.

Our shopping cart system calculates the cost of delivery by the weight of your order to almost any postcode in Europe (EEC only). All deliveries are direct to your home from Champagne in France by DHL Euroconnect , Ducross or EMC FedEx International Economy. Delivery is around 5 to 10 days or less typically 5 working days.For urgent orders we will suggest an Express service but please be aware the cost is considerably more.

Standard shippers insurance CRD only covers the value of the champagne, determined by the shipper by weight. Our shopping cart system will automatically give you the option to include insurance to your order to cover the value of the replacement of the champagne.

An alternative shipper: Occasionaly it may be necessary for us to despatch a shipment using an alternative shipper (but only from those listed on our site) for your shipment if the weight, expected delivery date, destination or tracking service is more suitable than that selected in our shopping cart. We always use the best method of shipping when the cost is comparable and not cost prohibitive. Not including express services. In general shipments of less than 24/30 bottles are better to go with EMC Fedex and for larger quantities of 36 bottles or more DHL/Ducross is the most effective service.

Returns:
We will gladly offer a replacement or a full refund for any wine which is damaged during delivery. Please contact us within three working days of receipt. If a wine is faulty or corked, we will gladly offer a replacement. Please contact us so that we can arrange this. If you change your mind and wish to cancel your order, we allow you seven days from the receipt of the goods to cancel. A refund (excluding the delivery and return carriage charges) will be offered as long as the goods remain in perfect condition and that prior notification has been given.
